If only BassJunkie/Chronicle/Boo knew what I am plotting...![]()

Tell me what you did with the Princess!!!!![]()
Oh, okay well what are you planning![]()
A tonebender blowtorch mystery pedal you say? I'm intrigued...
Ah, our good friend Mario
Well I must say, keep us updated(Me with PM's cause i miss some threads!)

Have there been any full conclusions on the MessDrive/MessDrive+ and Wounded Paw? I saw the threads, but never heard any conclusions.
Let's just say I'm combining a little of your favorite, Boo's favorite, and my favorite.....
Tonetorchmaster?!?![]()
For me I use the line 6 bass pod to get distortion, tone shaping, modeling, and compression.

The Master BlowBender of course. or the Brass ToneTorch.
But I do not clearly see how you could integrate a brass master and a tone bender in the same circuit - let alone the blowtorch.
Just something real top line here.
the brass masters diodes look almost like a rectifier and they feed into a transformer (might make it good for active instruments as i've been investigating adding a transformer to my design) and if I remember correctly from all the talk s about the Green ringer - there is something about using a rectifier to get an octave (more harmonics) which is a good thing when you are going for gnarly distortion or fuzz.
The tonebender just uses one diode pair running in opposite directions to the ground.
seems like two very different circuits here.
Hrmmm. you might be better off building both separately.
Errr. strike that - if you like both but want to combine them - then what is it about each that inspires you AND are you looking for an amalgam of the two sounds or the capability of each sound in one box.
AND be forewarned - chocolate Cake is tasty and so are raw blue point oysters - But I get a different reaction when you mix them in the same bowl.
just some food for thought.![]()
