Non-Muff fuzz!?

Sorry to kick at a dead-ish horse... but I had to bring this thread back, so I could toot the IBANEZ SMASH BOX's horn!

I'm A/Bing my Little Big Muff with my Smash Box

I honestly, for the life of me, cannot get the Muff to sound anywhere NEAR as golden as the Smash Box. Much love for the smash box

ERRRRRRNT

Muff hass more clipping going on and higher gain trannies. Adding a LBP circuit to the tail end of the Tonebender (and I am talking about the 3 knob Colorsound Tonebender - the Vox Suppa Tonebender is basically a big muff) would not alter these CRUCIAL areas of the existing circuit.

I'd really need to compare whats going on in a Brassmaster and compare it to a muff. I'd be willing to bet the Mammoth is loosely based on a brassmaster. and then the fender blender looks like a fun one too!

Build I say Build!!!!

The Mammoth is not based on the Brassmaster, it's more like a Fuzz Face type circuit with a Big Muff tone control and some resistors replaced with pots (ie variable resistors).
