noob cab question

sorry if this is a dumb question, but Im a noob. I have an eden 210 xlt cab and there are two 1/4 inch jacks on the back. why 2? there is only an "input" marking. see pic

The other 1/4" can be used to parallel a second speaker cab from.

So you can "chain" that speaker to another one you stack it with. Connect a speaker cable from the 2nd jack on your cab to another cab you don't have yet.

so the other is an output? does it matter which you plug into? I have another 210 cab. Its an SWR and it also has two 1/4 inch jacks. but they are labeled input and output. Also, is there any difference in running one cab to the other, or using both outputs from the amp? Thanks

They are both inputs, the one you are not using becomes an output. No difference if you use two speaker cables to the amp or only one and then chain the cabs.
Only thing to remember is to watch the impedance (ohms) of the two cabs. If the both say 8 ohms you should be good to go (= a 4ohm load). If one or both cabs are 4 ohm your amp head will need to be rated for 2 ohm min load.
