I have an ESP LTD bass that has two soap bar pups and a 3-band active EQ, and I love the way I can really crank the lows just by turning up the bass. It's almost like having another volume knob, and I really like that feature.
Now, could I take a P-bass and add a 3-band active EQ and get that same function?
