not enough low end- help needed!

Just get a huge power amp (QSC/Crest/Stewart/etc etc etc) and run that from any preamp you like, maybe something tubey and Ampeggy.

I suggest this because even a huge head (take for example the Aguilar Db750 with 900W) will only give you 225W a cab, and that probably still not enough to get all those speakers in check. Maybe you could use less speakers?

I recommend a Crest CA-6 or CA-9. Used is good (often under $600 for a CA-9 on evil bay). I doubt you will need or want all those speakers once you hear what kind of levels ~600 watts per channel (900 for CA-9) at 4 ohms can deliver.

Then there is bridging (which I never use). It gets you somewhere around 1500 watts @ 4 ohms from a CA-6 (CA-9 is ~1800 @ 4 ohms).

^That CA-9 delivers 600w per side at 8ohm, so that means each cab will be getting 300w. Think this will be enough or should I go higher? I'm considering buying one from guitar center to find out if it works with my rig then returning it and buying one used. Help on this would be awesome.

edit: the only reason why I use 4 cabs is because the band I'm in is just bass, drums, and vocals, so I like my sound to be balanced in full during a live setting.

Arent all your cabs 8 ohm?

That mans that if you run two cabs on each side, youll have two sets of two 8 ohm loads, which will give you two 4 ohm loads, pulling 2x900W out of a CA-9.

Can you daisy chain your cabs? If they are all 8 ohm and stack up to 2ohms together you could try an Eden WT550.. That would give you around 750w @2 ohms..
I usually have to back my bass way off because they just kill at those frequencies..

I dont mean to throw you a curve ...but are you sure that all the speakers in all those cabinets are wired in the correct phase? If even 1 cabinet is out of phase it will cancell out certain frequencies and give you a thin sound. Don't trust the factories. Check it out. You may want to upgrade the wiring in your cabinets too. Many factories use the minimal gauge of wire they can to be cost effective. I have 2 2-15 cabs that have been upgraded and I noticed a big difference in how tight they sound now. Just something to think about.
