Its been a while since SX did something that really "got me". This is sweet. I kinda wish they charged more for their basses so it wouldnt be so tempting. Gas Hurts!

Wow! I really like the improvements to those jazz basses! it looks like it will fix a lot of complaints about those instruments. I "need" one of those upgraded ones in a P-bass.

I just wish they'd get the necks down to more a more Fender-ish size.
I'm considering one of the jazz fretlesses. Whats wrong with the neck sizing?

That one is killing me on the inside.
They're thicker front to back as well as wider. The P basses are really thick and round. Depends on what you like. I like a flatter, narrower neck. The SX necks gave me hand cramps.
Nothing wrong with them... The necks are like an eighth of an inch wider than Fender I believe and they are a bit larger on the backside. The dimensions being different is what keeps Fender from suing them though.
They definitely feel like a jazz bass though. I'd say get one, see how you like it. For the money it's worth the risk and you have 30 days to return it if you don't like it.

The jazz necks actually remind me more of a Warwick kind of neck, rather than a Fender.
