NPD: ADA PBF flanger

Picked one of these up recently, never been a big flanger guy (tried some common/standard flangers but nothing too fancy) and I'm very impressed! Great tones, intuitive, lots of variety. The master volume control is great and frankly any flanger/modulation pedal that doesn't have one is suspect.
I'm not normally an "analog only" guy but this one definitely brings the analog goodness.

A couple things for those of you who own the pedal:
The Threshold knob, is that mainly for when using the expression input? I read the manual and apparently understand what it does but I just don't hear much difference throughout the knob's range. No biggie. Leaving it fully clockwise.

Anyone tried it at 12V? Any improvement?

Got to spend some more time with it, round 2 went even better. That right there is a pretty sick flanger sound

Not running it isolated, dead quiet. Still haven't figured out the threshold knob but at this point it's a non-issue.

Waiting on an order of TRS cables (a rare miss for Sweetwater, long story short they're back-ordered. Caved and resorted to Amazon in the meantime) to try out the expression function.
