Yes indeed. I’ve reviewed both here: http://compressorpedalreviews.com
I have found the comparison in the LA-1A review. No need to repeat it here. Please disregard my previous post. Thank you.

Yes—works very well as a DI! That said, you lose the boost (stomp function) in the DI signal, so many choose to place the LA second-to-last in the chain...use a preamp/DI at the end.Have any of you guys used the balanced out as a DI to the house, or for recording? I'm expecting mine to arrive next week!![]()
How would you rate the TI Box vs the RNDI?The Lightning Boy TI Box sounds excellent after the LA-1A if you are looking for something relatively inexpensive.

I have an Oracle on its way and am considering various options. The Teegarden Magic DI also looks great. Have you tried it?
In the meantime, I have a few JDIs I can use.
Thanks,
R
The LA-1A is worth “freeing up” some $’s for...I have no need for another compressor nor had any desire to look for one (the Becos was tangentially on my radar)...then this stupid thing comes up. I'm a sucker for classic studio compressors massaged into boxes. Luckily I have no dollars for such things.

I have been doing this, but decided to get a “real” DI to put after the LA-1A. Also using a CIOKS DC7 to power with the adapter cable. Not sure I'd ever turn it off, but I'd like access to the boost function. I have a REDDI on the way. More tubes!!Yes—works very well as a DI! Mine just arrived via Ebay, do your knobs feel kind of stiff & cheap? They're also not consistent, my "attack" knob is super stiff, and my "knee" knob has less resistance.
I also got a "pop" in the audio path from hitting the bypass switch.
It shipped in a box without anything holding it securely, and the pedal was free to bounce around in the box. The seller said thats how it was shipped to him when it was new, is that how you guys received your units?
The sound is awesome (wish it had a bit of metering tbh), but I expected better knobs/switches/jacks from such a high end device. It was supposed to be in "open box" condition.
