NSBD (New Space Bass Day!)

This is probably a love it or hate it bass by aesthetic design, I love ‘em, but I appreciate these ain’t your traditional shaped Jazz basses.

Just got delivery of my Warwick Bootsy Space Bass from Thomann. I am over the moon with it. You get a heck of a lot of bass for your money. I have to say the build quality & finish for a Rockbass is fantastic, (on a par with my German Warwick $$). It sounds great, I still can dial in that traditional Warwick growl, but it has a lovely tone on passive setting too. It doesn’t quite have the bling factor of the Washburn Bootsy with all the rhinestones, but man, it’s purple with a beautiful matching pickguard and headstock.

No, extravagant would be if I could get my hands on the Warwick Custom Space Bass with all the LED's - I think they're about €10k though so it's a bit out of my budget!

I did nearly end up with a Traben Bootsy Star at one point... maybe one day.

That's the problem. You can't walk out in t-shirt and jeans and play this at a blues or country gig. You'd look like the biggest ass. An instrument like this, you gotta own that shi+.

I saw Bootsy live a few times and it was always a great show congrats on your new bass.

Very Nice. I would rock them at any gig. Start with one of your choice and if it seems like they think it is out of place switch to the other and rock it harder.
Show the rhinestone cowboys how it is done. The ladies will love it.
