Is it a good bass for metal?
Nobody. Ever.
There's a bit of neck dive, as the headstock is large and pretty heavy. No such issue with the Washburn Space Bass due to the 'unusual' placement of one of the strap buttons under the lower horn, which surprisingly works.Also I love that bass. I didn't know they made a rock bass version. I can definitely justify rock bass money for something that funky
How does it balance when hanging off a strap?
I pretty much only play funk and soul, but there's no reason you can't play rock or metal on this...Who says a funk band can't play rock?
