The Berg is a thing from another planet... it IS easier to move than most 4X10's and the sound is ENORMOUS... I think this is a no-brainer... you already knew that the Berg was the right choice and wanted us to talk you out of it

Yes it might. It's possible that you could use it anyway without any harm to your amp, but if something happens it'll probably be because of the impedance mismatch.

I brought up the impedence because I do have a tube amp (SVT) and it's something I think of when cabinets come to mind. I'd love to try out the Markbass sealed 6x10 though.

To me THE rock rig is an Aguilar 750 with a Bergantino NV610. Amazing!

I have tried the Classic 108, not the 106, and it was good in some ways but I found it pretty light on the low end. So bear in mind that just because they're both sealed cabs doesn't mean they sound even close. The extra cab volume is a welcome addition to the Berg, IMHO.
