Hey Aguilar homies! I have a little feature on the Aguilar website right now. It has Tone Hammer sound clips from my record w/ my band Neon Trees. I'm out on the road using a DB412 and DB751, and have really been able to turn it up and give it a good run. I love it!

I dig the tracks, Brandon. Your tone on "Our War" is pretty much spot on what I love for rock. I think a lot of people would be hard pressed to tell that apart from an SVT. Good stuff!

Alright Im comming in.I just sent funds for a DB751.Will be here Fri or Mon.Thanks to those of you Ive been PM'ing for the help and opinions.I knew I should have stayed out of this thread.

Now for a cab...........

They are very similar the preamp is a littler different but they both are killer either one!

Im ordering a 751 in place of the 750 we use right now, by the months end!

Yeah I debated between the two.At the end of the day I think the changes in the 751 will work great for what I like.

I haven't tried any of the 12" Aggie cabs, but have experience with the DB410, DB210, and DB115. My current favorite is the DB115. It's more balanced (less mid-forward) than the 10" DB-series cabs, and has very nice low end fullness (much more than the DB210). For blues and classic rock, it's excellent (IMO, YMMV). A stack of DB115s might just be perfect. That said, if you're looking for something more punchy if you're trying to find a spot in a dense mix, the DB410 is a powerful hitter when connected to DB750.

The 4x12's have a nice low end, but they are definitely mid heavy.

I love the single 15 idea-and 1 would be enough for a good bit of my gigs.I would need a bigger one sometimes, but I may be willing to try a second smaller one.I usually prefer a single cab solution on gigs.

I can't help but join in on the aggie photo fun:

Wow, that set is amazing. Now I know how good a DB212 in Boss Tweed looks... And now I want one even more! Well, actually, I want two, both 8 ohms. BOOM.

But I mustn't complain with my fantastic DB112 cabs :)

The DB115 does great as a solo cab in small-medium rooms. I play with vox, two guitars, and a solid drummer, and I've never once felt like I couldn't crush everyone if I wanted. One of my favorite features is that it's one-trip load-in/load-out....amp and pedal/accessory/tool case stacked on top of cab, bass in gig bag on my back, off we go.

Awesome. I just ordered a DB212 in 4 ohm Classic Black. Its good t see more DB212 love.

I did have two DB212s (8 ohm) in Choc Thunder, but space and transport meant I had to sell them on :(

Cannot wait to get my 4 ohm though...Aguilar 12s just 'work'.
