OBP-3 mid freq

I have an OBP-3 preamp on my bass. It has the swith that selects the mid freq center (400 Hz or 800 Hz).

I wanted to know if that switch can be replaced with a linear pot, so I can choose all the spectrum of frequencies between 400 and 800 Hz.

If that is factible, what type of pot would you reccomend?

I have two of them myself & I don't think a mid sweep is going to work with the OBP-3

as far as I know, Aguilar doesn't make preamps
