OC-2 Holy Grail :)

I've been hard pressed to find anything that sounds better. I owned 2 late 90s/early 2000s era Taiwan-made OC-2s 15-20 years ago and they were good, but nothing mind blowing. Eventually I sold them and got a dirt cheap deal on a late 80s Japanese OC-2 that has spoiled me. All original, not modded in any way. I've almost sold it a few times, but the thought of having to buy it back again has stopped me. It's staying for good.

I have an OC-2 (MIJ; '88, I believe)... I think it was built the year before the transition to Taiwan.

The box, which has mojo embedded in it's every fiber, looks like it was made in 1888.

I've had 2 Octaver's - one was kinda bleh and the other sounds phenomenal. The good one was purchased in Japan by my friends and recently gifted to me.

Scored an April ‘82 in mint condition, box and paperwork as well. It looks like it was forgotten in a drawer somewhere. Very reasonable price in a second hand music shop in Portugal. It sounds great (I’ve no other OC-2s to compare to). I got lucky.
