The MXR Bass Octave and Aguilar have been my favorites for a while, but I just need a basic good sounding octave with no fuzz or sub harmonic tomfoolery or anything.

I like the Octabvre for straight octave down. For octave down fuzz my favorite is the Recovery Couple Skate (not on your list). BTW, the Woodchipper is octave UP.

I like the Aguilar and the MXR.

Strange list you got there - half those pedals don't have an octave down. That Lastgasp Gomorrah sounds awesome on guitar though (not so sure about bass)!

I havent even listened to the video yet but already want the last gasp gomorrah...
...heard the video now...still want it.
Since first hearing clips of it, I've always liked the cubic...and still do.

the aggie Oct, POG2, Sub-t and the mark bass supersynth are all on my board at the moment and I use them all. If I was going to only have one it would be the aggie for traditional Oct down settings, everything else has a real obvious voice to it. Everything else is definitely Cool- just less traditional.

Boss OC-2 when I want *the* octave down sound and EBS Octamizer when I want big low notes that still fit in musically with normal playing. My oddball octave pedal is the Modtone Deep Dive which isn't particularly versatile, but can get a huge bottom that I haven't heard in any other pedal. Playing it through a Pro PA system would make synth players envious.

That Gomorrah looks fun!

I have an MXR BOD that I like to use for a more gritty and beefy octave down.

I also have a POG2 that I like to use for everything else (octave up, organ sounds, swells, full wet mix, etc).

I typically keep the BOD on a nice go-to half-n-half mix setting and use the presets on the POG2 for the rest.

tried several , ... none with fuzz ... digital and analog ... I liked the original Ag Octamizer , tried the newer version and it didn't track near as well .. !?

there's a few in my line 6 HD ProX , ... not something I use very often ...
