Guys I bought an SVt Classic vietnam head and it sounds just like the American made one, great sound and great construction, now have it for like 3 months or 4 and have had no issues at all....

Hi, I think that combination svt210+svt115e is better then
svt12he + svt15e but svt12he is lightweight (20kg vs. 30kg) and (RMS 300W vs. RMS 200W). These both combination is very good. For small club I can use only svt12he. It´s suitable result for my svt3pro.
Price $350 for svt12he is quite nice.

Pedro, those are two 1967 B-15N cabs. Rather dilapidated, but I'm sure they can be made into smokin' cabs fairly easily with 10 bottles of ArmorAll and a couple new speakers 
SWEEEEEEET! That's in pretty good shape, too. Does it have the 6146's or has it been modded to use 6550's? Also, does it have the tube relay? Those cabs totally kill modern SVT cabs. Nice score.
Actually one of those cabs is a extention cabinet.
The lid has the cart attachment in the center and the holes in the corner of the lid for the rubber cart bumpers.

It still has the 6146 tubes. I don't know if it has a relay. How can you tell? The cabinet was really beat up and I actually got it for free. I put the new grill cover fabric from fliptops.net and I put new speakers (jensen MOD 32ohm) in it because there were like 5 different brands of speakers in there and I don't know if they were all 32ohm. Fliptops has a special were you can get a deal if you buy the whole set of 8 for the SVT...It cleaned up really nice.
Hmm, the Jensen Mods, huh? Never thought of them for an SVT. I have an 8 ohm Jensen Mod 12" in a little Airline 15w guitar amp I got a couple months ago. Marshall'ed it right up! I'd love to hear them in an SVT.
If yours has a tube relay, there should be a tube or at least a tube socket right next to the 6146's on the left. The tube relay was done in only the very earliest SVT's and was dropped after the first run. It makes no difference in tone because all it does is allow the amp to come on after it warms up, but it's a pretty cool curiosity. Mine has it, but it definitely doesn't make or break the amp.
The B40 was a SS head and cabinet - 4x10, sealed. Some, like mine, were covered with the black fuzzy stuff, others had the standard Ampeg tolex & grillcloth. The B40 head was basically a 100 watt deal that grew out of the B410 combo. The cab is pretty neat - it's virtually the only 4x10 that will accommodate the V4B's width (outside of the Fliptops repros).
I have to believe that at least at the time that Ampeg was making the V4B they must have had cabs that stacked w/ the V4. No?
