What exactly is a '1976 Ampeg SVT-9'?

I think that's an Ampeg V-9, which was the guitar version of the SVT? But I might be wrong.

I believe the V-9 was a non-instrument-specific head with reverb. The cab had nine 10" speakers.

According to the "Book," the V9 had a preamp voiced for guitar as opposed to bass. What that means, I don't know, but it came from the "Book," so take it with a grain of salt

I need a number, I have a B2 combo with a 15" and a V4 4x12 extension for the past 10 years or so. It worked O.K. for most gigs but distotred when pushed hard. Today I picked up a SVT 3 pro and a SVT 410 HE. Man, this thing rocks!

Been looking at the SVT12 for a while. Can get one brand new for $350. What do you think of it, say compared to the 15, or to 210's? Just curious.
