I have one that I use with headphones for practice in my music room. It distorts at a low level, so I turn the volume all the way up and use the gain control for volume. Still distorts somewhat if you push it, but the tone is very good at mid level. I tried it with one and then with two 2x10 cabs, but it's not for rock IMHO, but probably fine for church, small bar, etc.. I bought an old Eden WT550 for playing out, fantastic amp & awesome sound through those two cabs.

I'm seeing these amps at bars and with PA support they work great for rock.

I just picked up this Amp with the single 210 cab. Has anyone posted the revision history and any known issues. Mine says Rev A01.

Any other tips on settings - I'm running it flat now with the Bass boosted slightly. Considering the second cab too - thanks!

The second cab wil give you more volume and more depth and power. The other items I can't answer, sorry.

I used my Micro VR stack at our last gig a couple of weeks ago.

I was also going through the PA. I had trouble hearing the amp, but it came through my floor monitor OK. I'll probably not use it again for gigs - it's currently at our practice space. It's a shame really, the cabs are so light and easy to move.

Should be almost as loud as an SVT (unless you got one of the FUBAR heads). Try it with just one cab - if it sounds louder/better you got one of the head that can't run two cabs. I had two that were FUBAR before I gave up both did sound glorious through one cab 8 ohm cab though

Two cabs are definitely louder than one.

And actually, to expand on that, when I hook up the Micro VR head to my SVT-810e cab, it is almost as loud as an SVT. Going through the 210AV cabs, not so much.

Yeah, it's off. I've had this amp stack since maybe 2013? It's a great stack, but definitely has its uses. Works great in our practice space, but for gigs, I prefer something with a bit more power and low end.

Yes. I've tried a variety of settings with this rig. As I mentioned, I've had it for a while. Its great for smaller applications, but with a full band and drummer, it just doesn't move enough air. I don't think it's the head - I think it's limited by the cabs. I bring the head as a backup normally.

This rig is what I have been using.

A PF-800 and 2 custom cabs, each with 2x10 from an SVT. The cab internal volume matches the internal volume of the 810e 2x10 sections, so this is basically half an SVT. Moves enough air that my pant legs are flapping. Of course, they're a bit heavier than the SVT-210AV cabs. I'll go back to using this rig.

Yes, 16 ohms each, as each individual driver is 32 ohms. Together, both cabs are an 8 ohm load. I have another two of these cabs, all four are a 4 ohm load.
