Yep! My old Ashdown electric blue 180 in the background, and my old Stingray 5 classic (I play a Caprice these days). Damn I wish I had never sold that particular ray though...

I have a 2EQ unlined Fretless. Took me 3 years to find one. I don’t even like the color or pick guard

Hey man, New to me but not a new one. Yep BTA400! All 400kgs of it! Pretty good nick though. I was just going to get the head because I have a Mesa 8x10 already but for $400 extra for the 610 i just couldn't not. So so glad I did as it sounds immense with the 610 and it isn't as hectic as the mesa.
That is super cheap. I do remember reading that the 412 were a bit of an unusual cab. Their wattage is only rated at 600w and they are sealed and designed for vintage tube style heads.

I had a three band EQ Stingray fretless many years ago. Absolutely loved it. I definitely prefer the two band EQ though. Just has a little bit more of a vintage feel to it. I've probably had a dozen or so Music Man bass guitars over the years. My favorite overall has always been that two band classic five.
I've always thought they really shine through the Ashdown heads.

I’m not a big plectrum player but do like it with the CTM-300
It's really good... NOW. I was disappointed when I got it, it had nice tone at low volume, but did not get loud. Being the tinkerer that I am, I pulled it to bits. Who cares about warranty? LOL! I found the dinky speaker is Ashdown branded 4 ohms, but only 150 watts! I installed an Eminence DeltaLite I had on hand. This is an 8 ohm driver rated at 300 watts. Woah! Much better, even at 8 ohms. More clean volume, more punch, heft, balls, girth, whatever the current jargon is. Being that it's 8 ohms, I installed an extension speaker jack... because I can. I don't really think I'll ever need it, but it's there if I do. I can't really understand why Ashdown supplied these amps with such a crappy speaker.
I want one since I know it exists. I am debating between this and an Ampeg PF20, but I am more of an Ashdown guy
I play in an eclectic acoustic rock trio, holding down both bass and rhythm (using a wooden stomp box) and also singing a bit of backing vocals.
Last weekend we played a private function, crammed into a dining room. It was one of the more unusual stage set-ups I have experienced, where I had to tuck my ABM115 under a dining table with my ABM500H head on top of the table.
The hosts dog clearly has excellent taste and decided that my amp was worth guarding

.I have it's older brother, the LB30-2.N, which I'm guessing is exactly the same design, but with two more power tubes and the "2.N" is for the built in two notes cabsim/IR loader.
I'm incredibly impressed with the LB30-2.N. Being able to have a dummy load (like the ampeg pf20/50T) and a POST TRANSFORMER DI out is great. I use the two notes section a lot going direct and at home. The LB30 also has TWO DI's, one direct from post transformer and the other post transformer into the cabsim and DI out from that. Helpful to drive a stage rig and FOH. I even loaded an empty cabsim to slot #1 so I can have an additional AMP only signal.
The CTM15, is half the power obviously and loses the cab modeling section, but gains a significant factor in portability. Having power amp post transformer DI for live or recording is really great. It might be the best direct box ever...
Ok so I staked this for the photo but I wouldn’t actually play it like this because the head weighs more than the combined cabinets.

Love that head and I also love those cabinets. I've heard some demos of the GR stuff and I've been really impressed. It's something I'm going to look into someday if I start gigging againOk so I staked this for the photo but I wouldn’t actually play it like this because the head weighs more than the combined cabinets.

I love the LB30. I want the ctm15 for recording. I'd go for the LB30 but it is out of my budget. Great amp I am sure
I should have mentioned that the 15 is less than half the price and you can get equivalent two notes captor x to go with it to get the same functionality and still spend much less. (If the 15 was available I may have got that instead).
Im sure the tube sections are identical and sound exactly the same, just the 30 has two extra el84s. If I didn’t already have the 30 I’d get the 15 for sure.
The little stubby 30 is another great option. No internal load but 30w all tube and right in between the 15 and lb cost, and you can find them cheaper used. I got my used stubby a while ago for less than the new 15.
yeah I love the sound of these amps. I tried the Ampeg p50T and it’s is great but I like ashdown better.
Btw it’s been mentioned but the older lb30 is much more aggressive than the lb302.n. Each iteration is a little different usually in a fun and interesting way.
