yes, I am, almost every day. its pure gluttony at this point. but ideally Id like to have my black nylons on the black one and hi beams on the white one. at least it woul slightly justify having two fretlesses. I would have the fantastic 4 of ATKS

It's all ATK by the way. plugged direct to the laptop... no preamp... no plugins. I just wanted to to hear how the ATK sounded with the DRs Well I decided that I NEED another ATK 5er since I sold it.

What do you think which pickguard I should put on my ash body ATK 300? Black one is boring, what about mirror pickguard or wood pickguard? Any sugestion is good!!! I only don't like white pickuards!!!

I think mirrored would look nice, or clear like the new prestige. Are you going to make it yourself?

I have a clear one on my natural atk. its from the 90s when they had a tinted ash. clear pickguard shows off the wood, and still gives me something to anchor my thumb on, and makes use of the screwholes. I think a wood one (with a matching ash grain, maybe stained dark brown) would look killer.

Yeah, makes me extra-glad I got mine when I did.
If I ever find a good deal on another one, Ill probably nab it.
As for the picguard, my vote would be none, or at least clear. I love the natural, maybe even better than my triburst.

I have been reading the 3 parts of this club while waiting for my nos atk bought one month ago.
It is a 305 from 1995, made in Korea in a nice amber finish.
I' ve been lucky to find it brand new in 2011.
It is missing the string ferrules to go through body so if you know where i can find spare parts, please let me know.
I had a transparent black 300 made in Japan 3 years ago but i had to sell it back then. I am really happy that i found this one, it sounds really great.

Sweet looking 305! As far a string ferrules go, I just did a quick google search and saw a half dozen sites that had them available.

I'd measure the diameter of the ferrule holes and go from there. I've never replaced the ferrules on my ATK's so I couldn't tell you what the diameter is off the top of my head.
