I'm a proud owner of ATK310 in Mint Green, here with my Traben Neo:

Great player, best 'Ray-Replacement-for-Masses' bass IMHO. I also love the color, couldn't get more funky than this I guess.

I hope I won't have to sell it... :hmm:

Oh my HOLY SWEET JESUS!

If you ever get the urge for an all black (rosewood too) ATK300, let me know. I'll take the hit and trade with you. :hmm:

Ever noticed where I live? ;)
Anyway, I love the color of mine.
(and I'd like to have each bass in a different color. I've already failed completing that 'plan' however, as I bought Cherry Flameburst P-bass already having a custom telebass project done in half with a body in Candy Apple - so both basses are generally RED.)

YIKES! :(

Although this bass and the 24fret atk are forever on my basses to own list.

Has anybody thought of cuting off a peice of their one peice maple neck (the fretboard) and getting some rosewood glued in it's place? I love my 305 but, I'd love it too have a rosewood fretboard even more. Do you guys think it can be done?

It's not one piece....the fretboard can be removed and replaced.
It'd be a WAY expensive mod.
You'd be better off just having a new neck built from scratch, IMO

I just received my 2nd ATK 4-string today. The guy on the phone said it was in really great condition and came with a case. I asked him if the fingerboard was maple or rosewood and he said it was definitely maple. I received the bass today and I'm very happy with it. Turns out it's an ATK300EX1... black with a rosewood fretboard. It's in excellent condition and it weighs in on the ligther side (for an ATK) at 10 lb, 3 oz. Now I need to replace the original Elixir's... I can tell they are original because the coating is hanging off the strings in shreds. Fortunately I've got a set of Circle K's to slap on it. I'll post some pics after I get it set up and polished up.

Now I want an ATK with a maple board. Or... any body want to trade a recent maple neck (heel wheel truss adjust) for a beautiful rosewood board/black headstock neck?

If you've got an ATK that weighs less than 9 pounds... that you might be willing to part with... please shoot me a PM.
