The other night in practice I switched back to the StingRay type sound on the bridge p'up (1st and third coils in gear), and what I got was turbo-farting: no bass end of things but just a treble, mid-range, fart sound as if there was too much gain and the mid-range EQ cranked all the way. ?
Weird because:
1) I use TC's BH500 head

with 3 memory settings I use for: a Ric 4001 BlackBeauty growling, a JTB401 P with thumpin' flats and the third spot for the ATK750KA which is quite neutral so I can further adjust for the song with the ATK's EQ.
2) Amp was untouched since the last practice and the ATK's midrange was not cranked. Rechecked everything to be sure and still, that p'up selection (I call it the StingRay mode) was terrible turbo fart.
Anyone else experience this?
