Cant say I have ever tried competing with a hard hitting grummer

I did a few gigs with a BFB Vintage (2x15) a few years ago, and it was a very enjoyable experience.
I've been doing a tour of theatre gigs recently, and managed to get a loan of another Vintage for one of the gigs.
I'm using a fretless P for half the set, and a fretted P for the other half, both strung with flats. With that kind of thing, the magic all goes on in the mids,
My current cabs (Berg HS210s) are glorious, but I've never *loved* tweeters.
Rolled the Vintage in to the gig, hooked my Walkabout up, and straight away that lovely middy clarity was there, with a much smoother top thanks to the lack of tweeters. There's still top, just not the zingy kind. I'm not that kind of guy. The fretless was especially glorious, with a huge, detailed growl.
During the check I rolled a lot of the lows off because the FOH subs were carrying things, and I didn't want to muddy the stage up.
Of course, the cab weighs virtually nothing, but it's too big. I need something smaller and more modular, with the same characteristics.... time to think.... (one the waiting list has come down, of course!)

What are your thoughts on the cab in general?
Are there any cabs that you can directly compare it to?

I couldn't find anything in regards to audio or video via youtube, or anywhere else for that matter. Other than the website, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on these on the web. Would very much appreciate any insight!
It's gonna feel like a LONG couple of weeks.....

Picked up my Big Twin T from Alex today, had no chance to fire it up yet, I'll report back when I have.
Took the new cab for it's first outing yesterday, which was fun as I had no programmed tones in the pod and was using the rig from scratch effectively...
The cab chucks out some serious bottom end, and got quite a lot louder as the session wore on, I got the basis for tones for a bunch of songs, and nailed a couple, particularly with the Mesa 400 amp model.
My drummer and guitarist commented that the whole sound of the band cleaned up significantly from rehearsals with the LD400 combo, and the low end was clearer and tighter.
The rig is LOUD, I mean seriously PA level loud, tons of HF and punch in the mids, huge and persistent LF that just goes down forever, (I've had dates like that, but never cabs...).
As the day went on the cab exhibited better LF response and more control in the mids, I turned the horn down about 25% and was constantly adjusting the patches for LF...
Once I get the tones for the tracks set, I'll be able to comment more fully on the cab, but overall it's an order of magnitude better than the old LD combo, even with the drivers not quite settled in yet.
Very, very impressive, my guitarist picked it up and asked if they'd forgotten to install the drivers. It weighs less than one of his 1x12 combos.

I should have joined this freakin club like a year and a half ago. Since then my Big Babies have done over 300 gigs, and have always come out on top when I try to AB them against something else. Oh I could go on and on about how awesome they are. I think their hidden strength is for ERB's that go below low B. Above this range, alot of arguments can be made about other cabs' price vs weight vs performance vs size, etc. but below low B, there are very few real options out there, the differences start to become pretty obvious.
Basically, even after all this time I feel like Forrest Gump when he touched that chick's boob every time I fire them up.
I ordered a MidgetT and put down a £100 deposit on September 18. Alex sent me an email two weeks ago that he was expecting drivers to be delivered last week, and I have my fingers crossed that I will get the cabinet this coming week.
I ordered the Twin at the end of August, picked it up end of November, which was about a week later than the 3 months Alex quoted me, but after seeing his operation first hand I have to say that it's a remarkable turn around for the amount of work that goes into the cabs and the other stuff he has going on in such a small space.

), I love my Super twelve but we have to climb a spiral staircase to the practice room and I am waiting for a major knee op so struggle with anything around 40lbs at the moment
