I ordered the cover (and a steel grill) Partly to help protect my One 10 during shipping. If you need a cable his prices are good. If you don't need one, well you don't need one. I also ordered a hoodie, which is very cool (sizes run smallish).
I think you'll like it, and the MB 200 and entire MB series sounds good with it... the MB brightness serves it well. If you do need a cable, BassStringsOnline has very good prices on Planet Waves 5' thick-gauge Speakon to Speakon cables. I bought several from Jason so I am never lacking for one.
I'll just throw this out there, it's not a "must-have" but I really like having the tophat (pole mount socket) installed on my One10 ($50 US to add that) since the One10 is small and, on the floor, is far from your ears. I use a short Yorkville 42" max height small pole stand. It's a modest size and except where the pole enters the tophat socket the poles are not as thick as the usual speaker poles. Raising it up helps especially in those low volume situations. Of course, a chair, crate, table etc will also help toward that end if you don't want a tophat. I just liked being self-contained, since you never know what will be on-hand at a gig for elevating the cab.
Cover is useful, I got one with my One10 but don't use it much since, like JxBass, I got a cajon bag (mine is an LP rather than Meinl) to transport it in. Nice thing about the cajon bag is that the MB 200 or other small amp like a TH350 etc also fits in there ( I assume a TH500 or MB 500 size would as well), and it has a pouch that holds the speaker cable and amp power cord. So, it's a one-bag carry. As a result my cover doesn't get used that much but I do use it for covering it when it's set up at home in the living room or sitting out of its bag at home... it ensures the cat doesn't get any wise ideas (I have the cloth grill).

The top hat is also valuable if you want to use a pair of One10 speakers as PA mains -- particularly for a smaller gig. I've done the exact same thing with a pair of Greenboy Crazy8s for a home studio PA and portable rig. I'm in the midst of moving/downsizing so these cabs are going up for sale soon. But the idea is similar. A minor addition of the tophat creates a whole new tool.

I just took the line out of my Quilter BB800 and ran it into my Crest ST2000 in bridged mono mode (2400 watts @ 4 ohms) and plugged the Crest into my 2 Barefaced BB 2's.
This rig is so loud that I cannot stand to be in the same room with it yet it is still perfectly clean and clear. Nothing in the chain is near it's maximum potential.

Two questions:
1) I just found that the screws holding the metal grilles on both of my cabinets were loose. One was rattling.
Has anyone else experienced this? I may look into a different fastener and/or some foam around the edge of the grille.
2) Has anyone replaced the silver metal corners and/or the rubber feet on these cabs? I am thinking interlocking black plastic corners with no feet for stacking.

When I was considering adding casters to my Four 10 Alex strongly advised me against making any alterations at all. The cabinet wood is very thin and will not take kindly to it. I took his advice. I assume any screws he uses have those pull in bolts on the inside of the cab???

Very simple setup: Origin Effects Cali76cb compressor -> Keely bypass (used as true bypass for)-> Zoom MS-60B (for an occasional Chorus, but mostly for the tuner) -> Noble Preamp -> FR800.

Yeah, it sure does. If anyone has been thinking about going this route, I highly recommend it.

Played my MG-800 through a Big Twin, and they paired up very nicely.
Thanks for posting. I can imagine somewhat what it sounds like, having a BB2, but of course your pre- and pedals add to the sound. Seems like it'd be nice knowing you only need your pedal board, the cabs, and the cables to connect them, and that you can easily change your sound by swapping pre-amps etc without having to invest to swap the power stage too, every time you want to try something different.
Did you get pole-mount tophats installed in them in case you want to run the cabs as a PA?
If you have no intention of doing that then it wouldn't matter, but if I were fortunate enough to have two of those bad boys, I'd probably want to be able to run it as a PA also-- I'd love to have small PA cabs that can handle actual bass without having to carry subs. These weigh less than the Behringer PA tops that I use which are fine for vox/sax/a little kick etc. but which I wouldn't want to run bass through routinely. Of course, they cost a bit more than my Behringers

Yes, they come with pole mounts as standard, I believe. That actually was my intention when purchasing; to have these potentially double as PA cabs in certain situations as well as bass cabs, so the fact that they can be instantly mounted on stands is a great plus.
I did try both cabs as the bass rig the first time gigging (couldn't resist), and as you all know, just one cab of this design (BB2) with an 800W amp is way more than enough for most gigs. So using both was certainly a bit overkill, but sounded absolutely fantastic! The second gig I used only one, and as expected, I was not lacking in headroom at any time.
Can't say enough good things about the Noble preamp (as most who have used/own it will concur). If anyone that owns a Noble is considering getting a BB2 with a separate power amp, I highly recommend the FR800 as a great alternative to that.
