Gig went great! I was in a nice cocoon of thump onstage. I use a Line6 Relay G10, so during sound check I wandered out into the main hall, which is a boomy, open hard surfaced room and the bass disappeared (exactly what I expected!) But onstage the band and I were blown away at how present the little monster was. The drummer was especially impressed.

Overall I am extremely happy and cannot wait for my second One10 to arrive (placed the deposit one week ago, holidays may slow it down a bit.)

Also I was driving it with my MB500 so about 350 watts into the single 8 ohm cab. Thank gawd it was old folks waltzing and two-stepping so if I was too loud (I.e.: heard) I would be asked to turn down.

I am now convinced that two One10's will cover 90% of my gigs.

If you're moving from a 610 I'd recommend 2 112's or the 212 cabs (was the Super Compact a slip?). IMO you'll need more than a single 112.

When I ordered my One10 about a year ago I ordered a cover for it from BF at the same time. It's a good one too. Maybe email Alex and see what he says. IIRC it was on the checkout page. Or, possibly, I ordered it in the email exchange I had with him.

Meinl has a cajon bag that's a perfect fit. There are three versions, offering different levels of padding: $25-$50-$75. They can be found at Musicians Friend, Sweetwater, Woodwind & Brass, eBay, etc.

We don't do this now because it caused too many delays and logistical problems. We have our own Barefaced branded covers in stock for all models, they're really nice!

They do offer one-- I got one when I ordered. $66. I don't use it much if at all now, since I use an LP cajon bag to carry both the One10 and a small amp and cables.

There's the location on the BF site where they offer it... my recollection is that you'll need to separately tell them you want a cover, there is no "drop down" menu or box to check when you order. Generally they get in contact with you before they build it; but in any case you can email them, tell them you've ordered online but that you want a cover. They will add it to your order so you can pay for it when you make you final payment.

Cajon bag is a nice option. Here is the cajon bag that I ordered. Basically same cost (a little less) than a BF cover, and you can carry your amp and cables in it too, with a strap for over your shoulder etc. so you can do a one-trip load in with a hand free to open the door. But, the Barefaced cover is a good cover so I am not "un-endorsing" theirs in mentioning the cajon bag. It just doesn't do quite as much as a cajon bag.
