You're going with the 12 ohm model, I assume?
Been thinking about it... with enough watts even a 12 ohm Two10 can deliver on its own. I want to be able to use it standalone as well as with the Four10.
That said, its really just GAS talking, for me. Unfortunately too often GAS gets the last word.
I will have to touch base with Alex again.. he mentioned a couple times in the past working on a version that would switch between 12 and 4ohm.. how that works I'm not entirely sure. Otherwise, yes the 12ohm would be the version to run with my 8ohm Four10.

But, even if you include the mixer in the equation, the average drooolworthiness of the gear in the picture still remains pretty freakin' high!
I actually emailed Alex about that (switchable version) within the last 7-10 days but it sounds like from his reply it's still on the drawing board and not a production-ready design. I've been waiting/hoping for this to become a reality, but not yet.
He was also able to tell me how to use 2 One10's instead of a Two10 to add to the Four10 (specially modified cable, I am not pin-switching competent myself to fully grasp it but sounds like not a big deal to get one made. I have a One10 so that's a possibility for me but OTOH it might seem a tab unstable in a stack that way... but nice to know Alex is on top of options and is, as always, very helpful.
Good to know.. the Two10 at 12ohm would probably be fine for the most part anyways. I'd typically only use it by itself for band rehearsals that aren't super high volume or home practice. For gig's I'd still bring at least the Four10. Combined the two cabs would be a monster.
Another very happy Barefaced User here. Had the Super Compact first as a try-out. It was super and compact and sounds amazing, huge and deep. But something nagged me and I swapped it for a Super Twin. That one is even more super, sounds exactly according to Alex's claims, and can handle whatever volume you ever should need. And whenever I get tired of playing bass, I can always consider a career in the demolishing business.
Seriously, it is a pleasure to play those cabs. And the ease of schlepp is the big extra bonus. While the ease-of-schlepp-vs.hugeness-of-sound ratio is even more mind-blowing on the Super Compact, the extra heft the Super Twin brings to the game is still size-defying. Despite being bigger, it's not that much heavier, and it's still smaller than all the 4x10s I have ever tried- while sounding so much more to my taste!

I made up a series cable, took me about 15 minutes. Not a big deal. The two One 10s sit very securely on top of the Four 10 to make a very stable platform for the amp and best of all the whole setup does not look like a patchup of 3 cabs, it looks professional and made to measure (as it is). In my situation the added versatility of having two One 10s is certainly preferable to a switchable Two 10 and provides me with the impedance versatility I want. Until Alex came a long I would have scoffed at anyone who said that a single ten inch speaker was adequate for a small to medium gig. I feel quite guilty writing this, as I previously stated they were lifetime keepers, but I have just sold my pair of Ampeg 210avs. Still great speakers but they were getting no use at all since getting the One 10s.- I found that a single One 10 could easily do what a 210av would do and with more weight.
My Super Twin arrived safely, today. Initial impression... excellent cabinet! Looking forward to rehearsal & some higher-volume testing.

When I read reviews by people who really have no skin in the game other than having bought a cabinet and wanting it to sound great, and they describe it as unreal and able to handle all the low end from your amp in drop A playing hard, it's really making it hard for me to not pop on one of these as soon as I've got the cash together , meaning when my wife and I stop spending money renovating our kitchen. I'm starting to really get the idea that @alexclaber has got his shizznit together.

Your kitchen will forever be a bottomless pit of expenses. At a certain point, how much better will your food taste if you spend $5 or $10K on yet one more "improvement"? On the other hand, all you need is one Barefaced cab to sound wonderful forever. The math seems pretty simple to me!

All the improvements are getting done at once and then that's it! This one's staying for 25 years like the last one! The food will not taste better at all. I could have bought all of the Barefaced cabs for the money I spent , and then like the evil dragon Smaug, sat on my horde and breathed fire at all who passed by.......

EDIT: Although, having thought about it a little more, I'm not so sure. If that was a true "Talkenablers.com" post, it would have said "a few Barefaced cabs". But it was said in the right spirit.

They do proliferate. Once one of them worms their way into living with you, it invites all its buddies, and they just take over the place, crash in the den and the basement, go for rides in your car. Pretty soon they take all your money. The BB2 is a gateway cab, I'm tellin' you, man.
First it was the Compact.
Then a BB2 arrived.
Then a second BB2 arrived. The Compact left shortly afterwards.
Then the two BB2 left.
Then I met Two10.
And a second Two10.
I think I'm done.
Likewise.

Then I sold the pair of 210 avs.
Then I sold the Markbass 121h combo.
Now I am looking at the other Berg, Ampeg and Fender cabs and asking myself whether I will ever use them again.....
