Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

Had another rehearsal last night with the new bluesband. Super Twin with an Orange Terror Bass 500W. I placed the cab behind my drummer and slightly angled towards him. He loved it. Absolutely loved it. Had the Orange at 2 (with the gain at 4) and I was load. Never heard more clarity in my notes before - it's almost as if my Super Twin is only now coming to life...

Ric 4003 > Darkglass 900 > BB2
Pretty impressive.
Darn loud.
Beefy but not boomy. To be fair, the Ric isn't sporting the biggest low-end in town.
VMT channel worked really well for our indi-rock 3 piece sound.
Cab barely broke a sweat, and I think the head had lots of watts it didn't bother to use.
I gimped my way through a few minutes on drums, while my buddy played the bass, and it sounded really nice and clear, even with some hefty distortion.

I posted a ncd but thought I'd drop it here. My new 610 I received a couple weeks back. Definitely the finest 10" based cab I've ever heard. I love it every bit as much as my BigTwin2. Running a Darkglass VMT >Darkglass B7k>Markbass lmt800. Thinking really hard about a Fender Super bass 300 to sit on top of it.

Good to hear I've really been looking hard at the DG 900:bassist:

Super Bassman into a Four10 is, indeed, beautiful, aesthetically and sonically. I posted a photo of mine on the previous page. And it fits just about perfectly on top of it. An SB on a Six10 would, by definition, be 50% more awesome.
