@alexclaber When is your guitar cab coming out?
This news makes me want to learn guitar. In the next month.
I take it you have a Four10 and are maybe feeling like you need more power? What are the signs that point you that way?
I have played the following amps into my Four10:Thanks for your 3 star review.... haha
I'm not particularly thinking I need more power, in all honesty I need to spend more time with the cab in a band setting, but I've been getting some great tones with it for sure.
One thing for sure is the cabinet is definitely sensitive to EQ changes and when you add pedals and a compressor. Much more sensitive than the GK and Aguilar cabs I used to own.
Another question. For those of you that have the four10, have you played a Class D amp and a tube amp into the cab? What's your opinion on how the cabinet responds to the different types of amps?

In general, doubling amplifier power doesn't get you as much of a volume increase as you might expect/hope.

You should have grabbed that Big Baby 2 that sold on TradeMe a week or so ago, Bronze. I do not think that Alex is planning anything new on the bass front for a while, I believe I read that he said he would be sticking with the current ten and twelve speakers for the foreseeable future. Love my Four 10 and two One 10s, but would still like to try one of the twelves at some stage.Hey there all. I am looking at purchasing a Barefaced cab sometime this year. I am trying to gauge what time would be a good time to buy one. The cab that interests me most is the Big Baby II which is a third generation cab by Barefaced. I have seen that Barefaced are about to release a guitar cab soon. Does anybody know if Barefaced are in a R&D phase or about to release a next generation Big Baby cab or other bass cabs?
I have two BB2's. Excellent cab with great range, good dispersion and power handling. Light weight and very well made. I highly recommend it.Hey there all. TBH the whole shipping process is so easy with Barefaced that you are probably better off getting a new one and avoiding any possible issues that come with buying used, even though the cab did look mint. That said, I picked up my pair of One 10s used on TradeMe and they have performed flawlessly. I saw them on TradeMe within an hour of appearing and pushed BuyNow immediately, as there were already several watchers and hidden questions. If I eventually order a Two 10 to sit on the Four 10 then I will probably sell one of the One 10s and I expect it to move as quickly as that BB2.Yeah, it sold very quickly - even before i got the chance to ask about if they would ship it to the South Is / Dunedin. Sort of reminded me about what it was like when i was in the process of buying my Wal - they don't pop up for sale often, but when they do they sell in a flash. I dont expect one to pop up for sale on TM again in the near future so buying new will probably be the only option. In the mean time while i am sorting that out, i am buying a G&L L2000 so there are plenty of (good) distractions at the moment![]()

That was my BB2,I sold the pair I had and the buyer flicked on one of them only a few weeks later, he reaslized that two was overkill. I like the 10s way more than the 12s. The One10 stack has covered all my gigs with ease in the last four months. Six10 is due any day now!TBH the whole shipping process is so easy with Barefaced that you are probably better off getting a new one and avoiding any possible issues that come with buying used, even though the cab did look mint. Good to hear, Mark. I rather think that the BB2 might be too "clinical" for me as the tens just sound so good no matter what head I pair with them. Six 10 should blast your walls off, when I paired my two One 10s with my Four 10 to make a Six 10 I just could not crank it loud enough in the band room to hear any difference. I think it might be you I saw playing with two BB2s on a video somewhere??? If so - great band, great playing and great tone tooThat was my BB2,I sold the pair I had and the buyer flicked on one of them only a few weeks later, he reaslized that two was overkill.
