Since 2016 I've been using 2 SC's as my "big rig" and I've been very happy with the sound of them.

Recently a couple of Two10's came up in the classifieds and I've been checking them out on gigs. After 2 months I'm on the fence but think I slightly prefer the SC's. Now both the drummer and guitarist in the band are telling me they prefer the sound of the Two10's. They say tighter, punchier and clearer. These guys have good ears and I value their opinions. Now I want to understand what they are hearing.

I don't have an answer for that... But when I was using a pair of BB2, I don't remember getting compliments. They worked and I was happy enough. Since using a pair of Two10... I've got compliments quite a few times. I know the SC is not exactly like a BB2, but they're not miles apart from what I understand.
I think the Two10 is easier to work with while with the BB2 I needed to be more careful with my EQ.

I've been wondering about this myself. I have a four10, a BB2, and a BTII. For me personally, I have been really liking the BTII or BB2. But the four10 has a more traditionally mix-friendly sound, which is a bit less forward and precise than the 12" cabs. I wonder if that slightly scooped/murky-with-a-low-mid-bump sound is what your band members are reacting to.

I'm going to try the 410 instead of the BTII for a few gigs and see why people say. This could be one of those times where what the player wants to hear is different from what band or audience members want to hear.

That's my experience also. The BB2 was good, but I didn't love them, so I started looking around at other options. The 10s are what I like. They cut in a way on stage that lets me hear the pitch of the note a whole lot better, and the 10s get compliments all the time!

The current remedy I can offer up for that feeling is a D800+ with the bright switch on.
It's like having tweeter response without the tweeter. It's good. Very good.

Ordered a Super Midget and delivery was to be on 7-6. Showed as being at destination and ready for Delivery. Friday. No delivery and still showed Pending. So I figured to be here on Monday. 12 PM at the latest. Nothing. Contact customer service and they are looking for it. Case number assigned . Get another Notification saying Monday delivery by 12 PM. Of course that was at 3:30. Customer service said that they would contact me in about 2 hrs. Called and said that they are searching for it and they will call. Called again this morning and nothing. Did my third live Chat and they said tracking service will contact me when they have more information. Not Happy.

In fairness, the SM is such a tiny cabinet that it might have fallen between the cushions of the driver's seat.

FedEx lost my Super Compact for a few days, then it arrived with a corner all crushed. Alex took care of it of course...but I have my doubts about FedEx.

Wow that really sucks. When I got shipping notice on mine from Barefaced it arrived at my house the next day...from UK to North Carolina. Fingers crossed for you, sounds like it's the shipping carrier that screwed up...I'd contact Barefaced right away.

Serious doubts. If you read through this thread there is dozens of examples of their deficiencies. I get they handle millions of parcels on a daily basis but almost it's as if FedEx has a vendetta against Bearfaced or people receiving them. I know it's a fanciful thought and not true but there's way too many incidents to excuse their poor performance. I was their victim once on my first BF order. It was quite an unpleasant experience.

Same here. I was having hard times trying to clear customs my BF cab delivered by Fedex to Moscow.

Seems like delivery either goes super smooth or horribly wrong. Unfortunately for Alex that part is out of his control. I still favor Fedex over all others.

And they've shipped thousands of Barefaced cabs... That doesn't stop the problem shipments from being incredibly frustrating for us and our customers though!
