I have a feeling the pair of r210 cabs will kill. Im living at work right now and only have used my D800 for less than an hour. Will get to try it on the fly saturday. They should be a great pairing.
I'm just heading out for my first gig with my BB2.
I'd think that a Two10 + SC would be a great match-up!Debating on my arsenal. I'm pretty happy with my rig now:
One10
SM
SC
Meditating on unloading the 10 and SM to finance a 12ohm 210 to stand alone or pair with the SC. I know the 10 just arrived last night, so that's s fast flip. I don't honestly need the bigger 210 horsepower often, so it may be a case of eyes bigger than stomach![]()
I have a 4 ohm stable head, and the SC handles more power so a 210 12 ohm would be s better fit. It's roughly a 4.8 ohm combo load with 300ish going to the 210 and 400ish going to the SC (rough numbers).
I'd talk to Alex about this.
You've got a matching pair with the SM and SC but I'm not sure where the R210 fits into all this.
Monster, do you like it better with port down or to the side. Stacking cabs vertical makes you lose some low mid floor coupling so, it bakes sense that 120hz boost would enhance the thump or punch feel.
One10 on the side with the port open to the room is feeling like it is going to be my choice.
I had the same experience. Just when I thought having the port open on its side was "it", I'd flip it vertical and get the perfect effect for a different tune.
monster, try plugging the port with a sock, just for giggles.
