Calling out to the one10 owners, especially those who have two:
How loud do two of them get? In terms of rock music with medium loud drummer.

The

People have been placing tube amps on cabs without foam for decades.

True, but those tube amps typically have anti-vibration shock absorption built in (ala Ampeg).

Plus, I'm guessing the feet of those tube amps actually fit on the cabs. ;)

I have one. It's as loud as my GB NX2-112 cab. 2 of them will be as loud as a good 212. No problem with 500 watts into 4 Ohms unless your drummer is "out there" or the band volume is excessive. Unless you need the kind of volume a conventional 410 puts out when pushed hard, a pair of One 10s should be very comfortable.

I own two - and I can tell you they get seriously loud and show NO sign of buckling at high volume.
I am quite picky with cabs and these make me the happiest in the overall tone-portability-power handling/volume equation.
Unless you're playing an arena or large outdoor festival with no PA or your band is insanely loud, two of these should be plenty.

Monster, do you like it better with port down or to the side. Stacking cabs vertical makes you lose some low mid floor coupling so, it bakes sense that 120hz boost would enhance the thump or punch feel.

Too soon to have a favorite. Gotta do some playing in the mix (at least with the stereo). Both are really nice. I only got about 20 mins of playing in last night.
