BB3 order in the queue today The One10T + One10 stack was very very hard to resist. So portable and instant great tone for the 10CR. Much looking forward to the BB3 knob-twisting fun and games. Now is it the WD800 or the TT800 for the power???

It is for me. I keep the Subway channel clean, a little more modern sounding and have the boogie channel mroe aggressive, usually.

Love seeing the amps! While we’re on the subject, is anyone running an Ashdown ABM? I’m feeling nostalgic for my old Trace Elliot rig. The built-in-the-UK ABM series gives me some of those vibes, and while they are throwback sleds for sure, the weight is still far more reasonable than my old TE AH600SMX. Might look and sound pretty good on top of my SuperTwin….

Nope, but on paper they remind me of the Accugroove and Euphonic Audio cabs. Both great for super-clean, flat response. Barefaced 12's as well, obviously..Wish they made a 15".

I tried their Monaco. I had it for a couple of weeks I think. I used it at home both with bass and guitar and managed one rehearsal at full volume with a RATM tribute band. Normally I play reggae/ska/funk... but the RATM is just sooooo much fun.

I'm in the middle of a holiday show, fretless and double bass through the Super Compact and Euphonic Audio micro550. It's going through the house but just a smidge, so mostly acoustic, and the sound guy is loving it. Me too, and it's nice to get the unsolicited positive feedback. It's a clean, hifi sound that is still musical. Tonight, after the matinee, I'll be playing some blues through the same rig. Gonna be a fun day!

I think the Super Compact offers more bass than a EA Whizzy. It also really puts out a lot of sound.

One of the biggest selling points for me with BF was Alex's explanations. I'm not a engineering genius, but I'm not a dummy either. When he explains his designs, it makes totally sense. I love nerds, especially nerds that can properly articulate what they are doing.

I have my personal issues with 410s. For recording, they are very scooped sounding. Live, they are pretty directional and the sound is aimed at your knees, making it harder to hear on a loud stage. Packing them up is a nightmare because they are always heavy due to the number of magnets. Side note, I don't watch Scott's channel much, and I'm not sure when this Ian guy started working with him, but I really don't care for him. He is a little annoying.

If BF is working on something that will sound like my DB751, sign me the F up.

I would prefer things don't look retro. I'm sick of retro. The aesthetics of the 70s was total garbage. I lived through the late 70s and early 80s, and never want to go back to a time when it seemed like everyone was blind.

I have to disagree with you. Obviously, you're not a member of the illustrious Talkbass club " Crappy bassists with expensive gear". My favorite club. This is real world bass playing, and I'm just happy nobody is slappin tha bass in this demo. I think these demos demonstrate the cabs just fine. One must use their imagination and musical intuition of tone preference. So far, their demos haven't seemed to hurt sales, and they keep Barefaced rooted to their customers, and to the street. It's quaint and authentic. What more is needed? Bass acrobatics? Boring.
