Here are my two #1s (since I play both about equally):
The one on the left is an LB75 from the early-to-mid-2000s, and the one on the right is about a 1999-2000 B5. Bought the B5 off Craigslist and the LB75 at Bass Emporium here in Austin.
Love them both...B5 is more aggressive or "rock-sounding" than the LB75, but the LB75 is so smooth it just kills for the funk. I'm guessing that's just because of the difference in the B5 being a bolt-on. That's not to say I can't get just about anything out of both of them - they're like "Swiss Army" basses. I can get so many different sounds from them, they've pretty much cured my of my bass G.A.S. - I desperately wanted a Music Man and a Lakland, and now I just don't see the need, these work so great for me.
I also have an old Pro Bass 300C combo I used to use all the time. I've since changed to the POD->PA (and sometimes FRFR - usually a Carvin PM15A) amplification route.

Does anyone here have any time/experience with a 1-piece Mahogany neck-through on their Carvin?
Impressions as far as stability etc...? My one piece maples are awesome, just wanted to know on the Hogs.

I'm so stoked to get my next LB75 next month (June). My estimated completion date is 08JUN. Hopefully I'll have it under my roof by mid-month.
One of my SB4000s has a 5 piece walnut neck, with two maple strips. Feels great and is very stable.
