I want a true bypass, low noise, standard, small enclosure, 9v milkbox!
My DOD family photo: DOD Gunslinger, DOD Carcosa and DOD FX10.
If there's one local for $40 I'd pick it up. The FX10, while being basic, has a lot going for it. I can add some nice lows to a pedal lacking in them or can be used a nice simple boost anywhere in your chain. The main thing is it seems to have a "special sauce" thing going on with where it makes everything sounds sweeter. Sorry I don't have a demo right now but I can say that I picked one up a few weeks ago and it has become an always on pedal for me.
Yeah I second what was said above. The fx10 is super versatile, you can hit it with anything without it distorting in my experience, it has enough gain to drive other pedals nicely, it's highs are great for grind and its lows are boomy without being muddy.
Just to be clear, we've been talking about the fx10, the bifet preamp, not the fx410, the bifet boost, which has been reissued by DOD.
The fx10 is flat at about 1 o'clock. I can't speak to the fx410.
There's some debate about how much difference between the circuits. The digitech rep (who's active on this forum) claims they're almost exactly the same, but I've seen others report difference (and usually a preference for the fx10 over the fx410), including JohnK, who gets a lot of deserved respect around here.

So I ended up buying that near mint FX-10 today for $40, initially for a resale, but now I want to keep it. Yes, it's very well worth the money. I can't believe all the tones you can get out of a single knob... then again, I do play a P bass, so 1 tone knob should have been a sign!
So my happy DOD family now includes a FX-42B Bass EQ, FX-10 Bi-Fet Preamp, FX-62 Bass Stereo Chorus, and FX-72 Bass Stereo Flanger

The Carcosa is an awesome fuzz pedal.
EDIT: Or the DOD 250. It can be a great grindy pedal at higher gain or a cool tube warmer emulator at lower gain settings.

These are good suggestions!
The fx25 filter is a unique and aggressive sound, and also doubles as a dub pedal if you turn the sensitivity and resonance up. It's on my board in the latter capacity.
The milk box is a kickass sustaining compressor, far better than its price suggests.
The meatbox is a crazy pedal, if you're into pushing 30hz.
The fx90 from what I've heard is a beautiful mn3007 delay, with the same chip and sound quality as first run boss dm-2s and 70s big box EHX memory men.
I am thinking about daisy chaining my DOD pedals together on my PSU. Is that safe? I've got a FX-10, FX-42B, FX-62, and FX-72. They are all analog, so I'm thinking the total would be under 100 mA, plenty safe for my 200mA outputs.
Not providing enough current to your pedals won't hurt them AFAIK, but they won't perform well. Usually for me it's caused lots of background noise, clock bleed, and grounding issues. There's no harm in trying it.
Is this DOD only? I have the Meatbox, 250 and Phasor on my board. If it includes Digitech then I have a few more.
