Added 2 more to the stable today. Solid pedals so far. My DODirt (a term I've just decided to coin) now ranges from warm and tube-like to extreme gain. I'm ready for anything!

Any love for DOD flangers? It's the only effect on one of my main boards I don't have a DOD equivalent of. Then again, I ONLY have the octaver (Octoplus) on my DOD board. Any consensus as to a better flanger of the DOD offerings?

Love the classic fuzz. Great pedal. That OD is great too. I have both. Although they are both a little messed. But I still like using them at home. Especially the fuzz.

The fuzz is awesome. Prefer it to some of the higher end fuzzes I've played. And boosted it gets nasty, but still retains definition. I can tell the Tube, Fuzz, and 50B are all basically a tweaked version of the same circuit as I can get similar sounds from many of them, but at very different settings. Still, they're all solid and worth keeping in my practice board. May just flip pedals on/off as necessary, or make another, slightly larger board to fit 2 more on. I still have 2 plugs left on the 1Spot...

The FX63 Deep Freeze was based on the FX64 Ice Box's circuit, but voiced for bass guitar and with a blend control. Like the Ice Box the Deep Freeze is an analog chorus, using a MN3007 BBD chip. Two different versions were made, with the second version featuring the "real" control names above the knobs replacing the FX62 Bass Stereo Chorus.

Right. But is there a simple way to turn an Ice Box into a Deep Freeze?

How you do that? I'm sitting an 25b. It's one of my first ever pedals. Found it in my truck a few moths ago haha. Plugged it in. Liked it. But I know it's notorious for volume drop. Never knew you could mod it with a master......???

So glad you got one!!! I used mine on my main board very briefly. I think at one practice. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it did. The fact that my tone pot is bad though pretty much made me ditch it quick. I think if it worked, I'd most likely use it. Well, maybe haha. It really is a great fuzz. Hell, I scored mine for $25. For that kinda money, it cannot be beat. I really like it. I think I'm gonna reach out and to someone tomorrow and see about getting that tone pot replaced. I can probably do it. Just need to get the right pot.

I have an ice box. I actually don't like it much. I prefer a thick, lush and vibrant chorus. Those things the ice box is not really. I could see the mellow chorus users loving it. Great in low end too. But it's one of my least pedals used. Ever haha. It's still cool in my book though just because it's DOD.

You can look at my previous posts and see what I know, but it's not much. The tone knob may be tough to replace. During the process of modding my 25Bs, we thought of replacing the sens knob. They're tiny pots and my dude couldn't source sens ones. Maybe tone ones are more popular. And I like my Ice Box. Of course, I like subtle chorus, and I have no real need for it in any of my songs, but I like it!

look mint (like any true DOD fan would...). Anyway, for a total of around $100 (including purchase price) I got 2 awesome filters! Can't beat that deal!

Also, just moments ago scored that FX52 Classic Fuzz from Reverb. Nice!
