Got this back in June... I think
I made a huge mistake and sold my first Stingray. I won't make the same mistake again. Still loving this one.

Well back then it was the regular sunburst, they used a very thin red layer then.
The sunburst of today has a much heavier red, and neither it or tobacco burst are as much yellow as back then.
Rayzak, that 2-eq SR4 is killing me! It's what I would have wanted in a buttercream 4 string. I looked for a 2-eq, but never saw another, other than yours. I think there was ony three made, right?

That color is called two tone sunburst, that's why it seems more yellow

What Caca da Kick said is true.
Even the 2 tone sunburst nowadays are too reddy.
So I call that particular burst (my fav burst btw.) "Slashburst".
Cause Slash has a beautiful Les Paul of that colour that attracted me to it in the 1st place!

fourtunately it did, my skb hardcase took some big scratches tho. Played well and had alot of fun in LA
Here's my 1999 Stingray 5 My Wife bought it for me on our wedding anniversary when visiting Nashville from the UK May 1999.
I really like the SUB. Swapped the pickguard (the aluminum was a bit too cheesy) and am thinking of adding a hipshot xtender.
I have the same amp head. BTW, did you really have it up that loud on your volume? My whole house shakes at that volume.
