Official Eventide (H9/Factor Series) Settings Thread!!!

I'm finding that by playing around with the "randomize parameters" function, eventually, one can get some amazing sounds.

Here's a Harmodulator preset I've been using for ambient stuff, it really sounds incredible when I fade it in with a volume pedal:

Okay, it'll be up here for about a month, but I've shared a zip file with the presets, which you can access, here, but if someone can think of a way to include them on TB, that'd be super. Enjoy!

Ah what kind of files are they? I can't view any of them?

It's a zip file. If you unzip it, there's several folders in it (by algorithm). In each folder are the presets, which you have to import one at a time into your H9.

I have a question about delays and tap tempo:

I've found if I enable the 'tempo' button, the delay time knobs offer beat subdivisions, but then the tempo for that patch is locked to a specific tempo - tapping a new tempo with an aux switch does nothing.

If I disable the tempo button, tap tempo works but I can no longer set beat subdivisions.

Is there no way to have tap tempo active and have the delay repeats set to a subdivision of the tapped tempo? My M9 can do it and it's a really nice feature.

There is definitely a way to do that, something must be wrong. There are some global tempo options, perhaps if one of those is set incorrectly you will not be able to change the tempo? That's my best guess. Poke around there.

You are effectively 'the man', thank you.

It was because I had - under MIDI settings - elected to have tempo controlled by MIDI Clock. I switched that off and now I can tap BPM tempos and set subdivisions for individual effects.

Ah yes, that would do it...I should have thought of that specifically. Glad you figured it out!
