I don't have labels. I looked into stencils but they're $$ so I said forget about it.

Has anyone hooked up an 18v power supply to their JP-02 that has a greater amperage than 1000? I've got a 1300mA that I'd like to use because I'm running 3 Soundblox 2 pedals through port 8 and 7 others total and want to make sure I've got enough juice coming in

Right. I have the American Sound and the UD, with the aim of choosing one to transfer into a 1/2 rack box. Whichever one I do, I was hoping to then run it in the effects loop of my amp, so everything can stay patched in.

I plug the American in (to the effects loop) and it behaves exactly the same as when run in front of an amp. Plug the UD in and when you switch it on there is a significant drop in level. I run the level at about 9 o'clock when running it in front of an amp, but in an effects loop, it is well up over 1 o'clock! It isn't noisy or dull sounding - it just needs a heap more level. I have tried it in both my Eden WT800, and also my Sunn 1200s, with the same result.

Is this an impedance matching issue? Just would like to know what is at play here!

UD, British Sound and Analog delay. I think i like the British a bit more than the UD, but both are great. I almost never use the chorus, delay or flanger, but the entire board cost me less than $200 so its kind of fun to just have them there to goof around with. What should i use to fill that big giant empty spot on the top left corner?

Have you compared the British to the American Sound pedal? I've been wondering about it since I love the tone John Wetton got with King Crimson and UK...and when I saw him he played through all Marshall equipment.

No, i haven't played the American at all, so i can't offer any comparison. But the British is definitely worth $35

i use a squier VM P, rounds, standard tuning (99% of the time) and to my (not so great) ear there is maybe a tiny bit of loss from the bottom end, but not much, still plenty of thunder available. Not sure how it would affect how you sit in a mix, as i haven't used it in a band situation yet.

Seems you could dial the lows back in with the EQ and how you set the Voice control...??

yeah, any loss of lows is minimal one way or the other, i'm pretty much just hedging, don't want to come out and say "no loss of bottom end" and then be crucified if there is a little.

I am very curious about the JMP-01. Anyone have any experience with it, good, bad, indifferent?

Not sure anyone here has one of those.
I doubt it helps but I've been very pleased with the JP-02 power supply.
