Hi, any news about clean glass vs VT? I would also interest on comparison with joyo American sound to see the effect of the absent of full tone control on the clean glass. I like what I heard on American sound in YouTube.
Got an american sound not too long ago, and I really like how it sounds direct into a board. But I was having trouble with it making my amp noisy when I plugged it in with a one spot. Anyone else have issues?
Mine was always quiet.
Any other hot Joyo's lately? I'm looking for a cheap delay, preferably analog. Suggestions always welcome.
Just got an Ultimate Overdrive. Picked it up for $28 on Amazon. I love it! Use it with the gain set to about 8:30 and the tone at 12:00. Love the grit. My guitard bro has an OCD and someday I'm gonna compare them with both bass and guitar. Im interested in checking out the EQ pedal next. Any thoughts? Can I have a number please? Any recommendations for other Joyo pedals to try on bass?
The American Sound is a popular one. I have the AC Tone, as well as the UD. Used the AC Tone last night to warm up the front end of my Veryron.
Unless you're wanting to EQ in a strange manner, the Joyo EQ pedal does not have a wide enough band for bass.

My 40$ (shipping included) Husky drive is delivered. It's the most surprising 40$ purchase I've ever done. The pedal is so small but feels substantial with very good build & finish. Even the packaging spots quality. IMHO the build is better than comparable Mooer.
Haven't tested it with bass, just 5 minutes fooling around with my Framus guitar. It sounds lot better than any of BOSS dirt box I know. The gain is very usable from min to max. Unfortunately I don't have any boutique dist/od anymore to compare with.
It's not the 1st Chinese gizmo that I use, but still surprising how much you can get for 40$. Let's hope they clone more boutique stuffs.

I have a B3K (which I cherish), and am considering getting an American to use as a leave on pedal for toneshaping and gain/level control of my overall signal (but especially for my clean tone, when I turn off the B3K). So basically, I would not be using it for high gain sounds; more for livening up my cleans. Would it be best to run the American before the B3K for some pre-distortion toneshaping, or after? I hear that there is some amp/cab emulation in it, so I'm not sure how that might affect the signal going into the B3K...
Frequently, when using a pedal for toneshaping, running it last into the amp with all other pedals before it is the common practice. That way, everything else gets fed into it. Some however do run it first. Personally, this is how I run mine. Although, my toneshaping pedal is not the American. I do own an American, but I clean-blend it, and use it for my heavy distortion. Where you want it in your chain will mostly depend on if you like the way it sounds either feeding, or being fed your other pedals.
I just picked up a Joyo American Sound brand new for $24.00 shipped online! I can't believe this thing. It is amazing! I have an Aguilar TH500 and 2 SL112 cabs. While I love the amp, sometimes it's a little too "vintage" and "mid-forward" for my tastes. Sometimes I just want a nice modern sparkly tone, and the TH500 doesn't really do that well. But connect up the American Sound and WATCH OUT! Bass and treble at 2pm, mids at 10am, drive and voice fully counter-clockwise and bang - instant modern sound. Wow. This thing is definitely going on my pedalboard. Is this thing similar to the Tech 21 VT series? If I bought a VT 500 amp would I find this lurking inside?
The Tech 21 Character series is what it clones, specifically the Blonde. The Tech 21 VT is a different beast all together. It sounds like an Ampef, supposedly. I had one and hated it.
