It seems like the only solution here is to modify 'the rule'. In time, with patience and perseverance, you'll learn to live with 7 basses.

I was hoping someone would support that option. I've been leaning that way---you knocked me off balance and I fell into rule #2---do not own more than 7 basses. That should work for about a year.

The lakland USA models are abit out of my price range. LOL but thanks allot for letting me know. Please keep an eye out for me...

The pickguards on the 4/5-94's give it so much class!!

EDIT: I was thinking of getting a BG or a 44-01, but there would have to be mods to make it what I want it to be, but I really want a bass that I could get and not change at all (well, maybe a little). Besides with all the mods, it would probably be more expensive than a DJ or a Decade. I am torn, I love the DJ, but I love the Decade!!
