put a clause in it, if he doesnt want it anymore he has to give it back.or he has to give it to someone in need.

Whoa, this just gave me a cool idea. Any other surfers here in the LOG? Anyone ever seen the movie "Singlefin: Yellow"? A shaper out in California named Tyler made this oldschool yellow, single-fin longboard, but instead of selling it (or even riding it himself), he sent it to a friend of his in Australia to ride. Then his friend sent it to another friend elsewhere in the world, and so on and so on until it eventually found its way back to Tyler. Kind of like a chain surfboard. Each person filmed themselves riding it, each with different styles.

It'd be neat to have a chain bass circulate, and everyone record something with it. Showing off all the different styles and tastes you can express on a Lakland.

You first. I'll PM you my address ;).

Seriously, that'd be cool if one of us could actually ship off one of our beloved babies.

Slow everywhere except in the fingers baby :bassist:

I'm not going to tough that...this is a family establishment.

the traveling Lakland idea is good, it's just about trusting people enough to do it. That's a huge investment.

Yeah, I'm formulating some stuff on it. An ideal situation would be to have a film-maker travel WITH the bass, taking it to each.

But again, a huge investment. I think I'm going to actually make a written proposal for this. Another option would be having each participant contribute an amount towards a security deposit.

Anyways, stay tuned ;)
