So Lakland guys -

I just got my 4-94 classic - black/maple... and while it did not come with a pickguard (or the holes) I'm thinking I want one...

I've seen very few folks selling pick guards for a 4-94 (Jeannie Pickguards on ebay seems to be it). Anyone else you know of?

thx

This has got to be my first time seeing Tort look good on ANYTHING.

Leaving the cable plugged in will kill the battery.

Battery life is somewhere around 150 hours would be my guess...

how bout if you bypass the eq by pulling the volume knob out?

Cord in = preamp on and drawing power. Pull the cord out when you are done.

Thanks guys. First active bass I've owned, and I left it plugged in for a few days. Now I know why the battery was dead. I live I learn lol.

Hey thanks for the tip. I actually called the store and was told it is now available. I placed a courtesy hold on it pending investigation. :)

Basically it is a 4-94 amber translucent with Barts and a maple neck. SN is 174. i think that means that it is the 174th 4-94 made. it comes with the US case too.

I wonder why it is so affordable. I guess i'll email lakland to get more info on it and perhaps to see if they can install LH3 on it.

Thanks again for the tip!
