Awesome. Told the wife about him coming six weeks early, and she asked where she could sign up for that plan, lol. She is SO ready to have him (or at least have him OUT :)

My 4402 feels amazing. It took me about half an hour to get used to the neck. Now after the frist practice with the bass it's like I've played nothing else before. I like the broader neck. I allways found the jazz neck a bit to tight spaced. The weight is also a delight (8.6lbs). After 2 hours of practice it still felt the same as the first second I put it on. I think all lakies (or basses) should be this light :hiding:.

It sounds amazing, but I'm used to passive basses so it will take a while to master the full diverse potential of this bass. You can get so many tones out of this thing. At first the more modern tone sounded a little strange to my ears, but after playing with the preamp during practice I got some great tones out of it. And we play very different kinds of music, from stevie wonder to favorite things... . I got some nice p-bassy vintagy sounds out of it. It'll never sound exact like a p IMO, but it does a very good job coming close and live I don't think you'll notice that big of a difference. I'm so glad I got this bass and get to stay in the LOG!
