True! Although I did have a pretty unusual guitarist most of the time. Generally facing his Marshall, or looking at his pedals. Always tweaking his tone. He was too busy for center stage

Yeah, I'm still hoping to get a little more "rockstar" outta the guitarist and vocalist (2 diff guys) that I'm in Third Obsession with. The fans expect it and have even mentioned it to me.

Hmmm... I could've swore he was playing a Lakland hollow body the night I saw... the bridge looked like an oval. I was half asleep though, so I might be wrong.

Looking at the replays on youtube, I'm not sure what the hell I saw... cause none of the clips matched what I (thought I) saw. Maybe it was a dream.

Thanks. Here's the larger (largest) version, as well as the original pic I took to create the avatar image. I need to update it some. I put some nice birdseye maple knobs on the 55-94 a while ago, and also picked up a white/maple DJ5. Swapped the tort guard over to the white one and the pearloid on the black. with both basses next to each other, it looks like a battle of good vs. evil.

Clayton goes through a lot of basses. He had his Lakland kick and he's likely to move on. He did say that he thought he got the best sound ever out of his Laklands (naturally scooped mids), but he moves on.

I agree.....Dan did mention to me that he does not expect to see Adam use a Lakland extensively on this tour.....

I KNOW he does have the "metal flake gold" (what I call the 1970s dune buggy color) one at this point.....
