Just out of curiosity, anyone know why some DJ's have the signature and some don't? I thought that it was just on older ones, but it seems like I've seen them a bit more lately.....

the only DJs that I've seen without the jones sig are the five strings and the not-AC model.

Anyone know whether Lakland or a dealer will sell the guts (pickups and preamp/controls) for a 55-02 for a project??
Im digging my 44-02 and want to adapt an existing 5 string to that system.
