This puppy is gonna be here next week from Leo at leosgear.com. He's a top notch guy to deal with , BTW...

I'll post detailed pics upon arrival!

Great score, Gus! Love that color, and I'm sure that's going to kill. Congrats on snagging that one. And Leo is awesome.:)

HOLY CRAP!! Is that the Decade 5er prototype that I heard about somewhere? Does it have Chis under those MM covers? Either way, it's gonna be KILLER!!!

Not sure about the Decade, though the pickup placement is more like a Decade than a 55 which is what really interested me in it. They are the Lakland pups. I asked about dropping Chi's in there, but they said it wouldn't work as the routing for the MM ears would still be visible. I'm fine either way, as I have the JO5 CS, but nothing with Lakland Electronics in it.

Even though it's a couple of years old, this is apparently the only one made like this. Leo says it's Skyline parts, so it's cool to have a non-Skyline color. It also has a passive tone knob that supposedly works even when active. Needless to say I'm uber-excited about it!

I bought that bass used for $900 canadian... I guess nobody around here knows what theyre worth. I noticed ive never seen another one like it so i emailed lakland, and they said theyve made about 100 with flame tops. It sounds out of this world and plays itself like no other bass.

woah!!! GREAT deal!!! congrats!!!

that is really sweet!

I'll buy if from you for $900.....:D:ninja:
