i think clear would be neat if the underside is tidy and you can see the routing, etc...somewhat reminiscent of those all acrylic or clear basses where you can see everything.

otherwise, i would have to see a pic or know the color of the bass..it seems attachments are ok to see from work, but otherwise, i'd be able to look when i get home if it's hosted on another site.

I reeeeally miss my old natural skyline dj. mapleboard with pearloid inlays and binding. That bass was so damn good. It was being sold again in CA but the seller didn't want to ship.

i've just had my lakland set up and now it actually plays nicely with 45s on it... but now it almsot plays too nicely, as if there are 40s on it (i know they are 45s on it) so i'm thinking do i go up to 50s. it's by far the easiest bass i've ever played.. the string spacing is just right for my hands... hmmm anyone else felt this before...

also i've set the pickup height to the factory spec but the g string is sounding a little thin compared to the others, well theres less bass but is this because obviously the other strings are lower and are going to be more bassy?

im gassing for another lakland now.. thinking maybe a decade or one of the active j/mm ones... got some royalties through again this month!

This was going to be the "original" LOG bass - only we could not decide whether to go DJ or JO body - so Dan just made a run to see where it went and hit a home run!!!

I would almost donate some organs for a fiver in that config.... ESPECIALLY with Chi's.

HELL TO THE BLACK-BLOCKED MAPLE FIVER YEAH!!!!!!!
