I want to pose a Lakland question, Was your Lakland Love instant or did it develop over time?
I remember in the mid-ninties stopping by the factory and test driving a few basses, and being blow away, USA was the only option.
Years later I bought a 5501, but it wasn't a keeper. I think more to do with it being a 5 than the bass.
I recently picked up a 4402 Deluxe and I liked it alot, and the more I play it the better I like it. That isn't always true for me, but it sure is for this Lakland.....
So, was it Lakland love at first sight or a growing love and respect for your Lakland?
