I picked this up today from GC in Joliet Ill.(Go Brewers!!!)
I got a STUPID deal!!!!! Kinda interesting. Its repainted, but a very, very good/pro repaint. Its like a Burgandy Metallic. It seems to have been re-fretted with bigger wire.
Came with flats which need to go immediately. Also has Barts.
Thank god people at GC are idiot$.
Not sure if I'm loving the color. A bit too dark for me.
I stopped by Dougs and checked out Blondie.
I'm not crazy about the blond w/maple combo, but HOLY FUNK!!!! That thing SMOKES!!!!!

Wow, that is a great score, John! Personally, I dig the color. But obviously, since it's already been refin'd and you got it at such a great price, you should feel free to do whatever you want to it!
I really think I would still play one if they painted it the color of cat vomit.

I was finally able to take some pics of Lakland Joe #90. Sounds unbelievable though I haven't had the time to play it that I would like. This is actually the second Lakland I have ever owned. The first was a Sherwood Green 55-94 Classic with a Tort pickguard that I sold it in a moment of insanity.

If I get another Lakland I may have to go to the distributor and play a few of them. I have a bob glaub already, an awesome 75 re-issue fender, a mm stringray 5, and a wariwkc corvette, so may go for something like the quirky decade!

I Offered to take this off his hands for a little less than he paid for it (it IS USED after all) since he was not sure about the color....I personally love it (as do my wife and daughters)...
Blondie is one hot mamma that is for sure....hmmmmm...I WONDER what a fretless -07 would sound like?????hmmmmmm
