It may be cheaper to buy a used one (like mine) and have it fitted for chi-sonics.
yeah, i'll have to get a used one...i'm not paying full price for a USA Lakland. i'm also still contemplating the chi's...i might try the delano big pole pups before putting chi's in.

matt, with your love of DJ's you should absolutely buy evans bass if he sells it.

Upon closer inspection, I'm back up in the air about the finish. With it being the Prototype, there's a few measurement marks and nicks, so I might just go towards a solid finish.... still deciding. The birdseye on the neck is pretty great by the way.
